THE COMPLETE '56 RADIO RECORDERS SESSIONS

ELVIS ONE presents 'The Complete '56 Radio Recorders Sessions' on cd. A lot of these sessions are lost... For this release we wanted a different approach.. The first 13 tracks are the original single & album masters with the original fade-outs. The same masters can be heard in the masters & outtakes section but now slightly longer taken from the master tape. When you compare the ending of the original album master of ‘Long Tall Sally’ with the ‘rough ending’ master you will notice the difference. The ending of take 18 of ‘Playing For Keeps’ and insert take 2 of ‘Too Much’ were used for the spliced masters of these songs. We have chosen to release these recordings separately. You can hear all known masters and outtakes from Elvis at Radio Recorders in 1956 on this album.

KANSAS CITY REVISITED

MILLBRANCH MUSIC is back after nearly 10 years and this time we have been able to work with a completely new team of enthusiasts! The result is that we are now able to present a great 3-Disc Digipack release for every serious “Elvis live in the 70´s” – collector! Since just about everything has changed in our way of approaching an Elvis CD project we are absolutely sure that this time there is quality all the way in terms of sound (no audience recordings) and performances!

Introducing our first “Soundboard” release on the “MM” label here are two performances by Elvis and his exciting group of musicians (Afternoon and Evening show from the same day) at his fabulous early Summer 1974 Tour. Kansas City was the place to go on June 29, 1974, because Elvis was willing to deliver two extremely entertaining shows of high standard – and he did!

The evening show of this day has been released a couple of times already, but never before in such great sound quality. Now that is interesting of course, but have you ever heard the afternoon show from the same day (Soundboard-Recording)? Probably not, as that one has NOT been released yet in any form. Until now……..
We believe that the pairing of these two Kansas City shows alone already make a very nice package – but we would not talk about a “great” release if it was just “nice to have”, so we decided to make it kind of “perfect” and added a third disc and that is a DVD! You will have the best possible visual accompaniment for the two shows of June 29, 74 – perfectly synched with the same incredible sound that you can hear on our cd´s! We also have been able to obtain the best possible HD picture quality for our project and so you will be able to not only hear, but also to see the “real deal”. But that is not even all, since there is even more to “discover” on our DVD, which is included in the package!

ELVIS THE DREAM PROJECT

This of course is NOT the usual re-release, but a fresh new project in the completely upgraded sound! All songs have been restored, remixed into stereo and we bet you will love the result!

Ann Nixon, who is a very famous Elvis fan, said it all: "Seeing and hearing Elvis live is a happening in itself. No gramophone record can reflect the sound of Elvis' voice as he sounded in the real life. The dynamic range and the power that came with his voice were never captured like people really experienced it live."

Being with Elvis in Las Vegas is like having a private concert. Nowadays there are countless recordings of Elvis' shows, and with this project we want to try to show you how it was to experience the real Elvis live in Las Vegas as had you been there in person. We are aware of the soundboard recordings of Elvis, but quite often they are instrumentally incomplete, or the strong bass or heavy orchestra are overbearing the other instruments in the sound mix. Our dream was to restore this unique collection of live songs that Elvis performed during his Vegas years to their fullest glory. In this project we used the 1970 "On Stage" album as a template and we dreamt of what an original Elvis album would have looked like in the mid 70s. It was clearly noticeable throughout this project is how well Elvis really did sing on stage, and how immaculate the arrangements of the songs were.

That combination and Elvis' unbelievable charisma made everything sound right. Sometimes Elvis did two shows in one night in front of 2500 people during the span of one month. This would be almost the same as performing at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City during four consecutive weeks.
Our release is planned for May 2021. If you have enjoyed our previous CD issues, we believe that you will love our first vinyl project as well. All selections sound fresh and lively like never before!

ELVIS IS BACK IN ATLANTA - MATRIX RECORDING

J Records is proud to present ''Elvis Is Back In Atlanta!''

For years fans have been wanting a release of the soundboard of this show that took place on december 30th 1976, however when it was released (*) the sound wasn't up to snuff in large part due to the way it was recorded it was also very unbalanced.
We worked very hard in achieving the optimal sound quality, and balancing everything out. it doesn't get much better then this!
Combining the audience recording and the soundboard we achieved a good result, a so called matrix-recording, giving back some warmth and depth to a show that deserves it.

Newspapers were raving about this show with The Atlanta Journal stating ''This Thursday show at the Omni was tops, the best possible year-end present for his Atlanta fans'' and
''His vitality is restored and he was full of pep. Furthermore, he was in a good mood. He was giving his best and knew it, adding a wonderful aura of self-confidence to the show.''

The show consists of great renditions of ''Fairytale'' ''Reconsider Baby'' ''That's All Right'' and the highlight of it all .. ''Such A Night'' which was only performed twice live.

(*) This show was previously released on soundboard by FTD as Bruce Jackson On The Road With Elvis

The Touchdown label previously released this show as an audience recording as "Atlanta Loves Elvis!"
