SMOOTH CHICAGO NIGHTS - update

Here's an update for the upcoming MxF release Smooth Chicago Nights. This release holds, as mentioned here before, the October 14 and 15, 1976 shows in soundboard quality.

We already have these shows in our collection for a long time, whether in bootleg (Chicago Beat / Bringin' The House Down) or official form (FTD Chicago Stadium).

The artwork is the reason we need this release in our collection: It's beautiful and of course it is nice to have these concerts on vinyl.

There are different variations of this release: blue version, white/baby blue version & black version. There are also two different deluxe versions of this release.

Each version holds a bonus CD with an ambience recording from the complete concert of October 15, 1976. The bootleg Bringin' The House Down and the FTD Chicago Stadium only are previously released as an incomplete show. You can download your sample here: https://1fichier.com/?6qd6jnoe3vvpr2l2549n

A new release by Touchdown! We’re proud to present our new release „Good Times In Vegas“ which contains the former released midnight show from August 9, 1972. The new release of the Las Vegas concert does sound excellent for this kind of recordings. Elvis delighted his audience with a strong setlist and lots of highlights. As usual the release is accompanied with a 16page booklet and lots of rare photos and seldom seen memorabilia.

FEELIN' FAST VIBRATIONS

The new label Cocky Rooster Company presents their first release. Everyone knows where this is coming from, but we thought this should be represented in a good way. We don't know the person who worked on it like crazy, but he deserves a big hand for it. Listen to the fantastic sounding matrix recording from the midnight show on August 21, 1974 on a shiny silver pressed CD for your collection.

On this 3 disc release you'll find the following concerts:

Label: Straight Arrow Special
Products SA/SP 2020-62-02

Between 2007 and 2016 Straight Arrow has released 20 of the so called sound booth recorded concerts. Starting with "Kicking and Rolling" in 2007, "Faded Love" and "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me" in 2010, we decided to create a miniseries called "From the booth tapes." From 2013 to 2016 we have released 9 volumes, and now the right time has arrived to introduce the volume 10.

The August 20th,1973 Midnight show sound booth recording was first released by the
legendary "Fort Baxter" label on "A Profile - The King On Stage Vol. 1" box set in 1995, since
then it has been re-released several times but never from the original source and totally
complete - until now! The pitch was incorrect on all previous individual releases of this show.
The August 31st, Dinner & September 2nd 1973, Midnight shows were released (by our own
sub-label called "Vegas Strip") in 2008 on "Getting Down The Business" & "High Spirit In
Vegas" CDs. The sound of these CDs was speed-corrected by one of our colleagues back
then, but unfortunately, the pitch was still not right. For our final release all 3 shows came directly from the RCA tape duplications chromdioxide compact cassettes. You can see the reproductions of individual cassettes on the CD artwork.

Please note that the August 31st, Dinner show was mislabeled on the cassette as the August 30th Dinner show. All 3 shows were meticulously pitch-corrected by a professional musician.
We were able to edit the missing parts of August 31st Dinner and September 2nd Midnight
shows, using another source recorded by our dear friend from the UK. These tapes were never in circulation and they are of an excellent quality.

We have repaired the incomplete "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" and "How Great
Thou Art" from the August 31st, 1973 Dinner show to make it complete.
As usual, this release is presented in a deluxe triple digipack with a collection of images taken
on and off the stage during Elvis' 1973 Las Vegas Summer season.

A VEGAS TREAT

The Elvis Concert Fan label presents 'A Vegas Treat'. On this album you’ll find many tracks recorded live in Las Vegas from 1970 to 1975, including rare soundboard recordings and a stage rehearsal... An alternate February 1972 live version from 'Never Been To Spain' not used by RCA, 4 alternate live versions from February 1970 also not used by RCA, 6 live versions from March 19, 1975, a stage rehearsal from 1972, and a part of the February 10, 1973 dinner show...  As a special bonus two authentic radio spots from 1969 and 1971 are included + 2 rare backstage recordings. A total of 31 great tracks! This album is truly A VEGAS TREAT. Enjoy!

Only a part of the February 10, 1973 dinner show was recorded, using a bass-heavy mix, possibly as a guide for future Fender bass players if Jerry Scheff left the Elvis Presley show. He did exactly that two weeks later. These recordings were first released on “Aloha Jerry” and “Echoes Of Aloha” from Audionics but now presented for the first time in the right order.

ATLANTA WEEKEND '76

AudiRec label is back! In November 2018 we released a thematic box set with 3 Asheville shows from July 22 – 24, 1975. “THE ASHEVILLE MARATHON ’75 was a huge success and this release was immediately sold out. Now we are releasing a similar thematic set dedicated to Elvis great shows in Atlanta 1976. All three Atlanta June ’76 shows were released a very long time ago, but never in such a great sound quality. We have located the original sources recorded by the same person and restored the sound from scratch. All shows were taped with a recorder equipped with two microphones and there is a certain stereo effect making the sound rich and full. The sound of all concerts was re-tuned by professional musician to the correct speed! Hopefully you will enjoy the outcome.

We originally planned to release Atlanta, Dec. 30 1976 show too, but this one will be released very soon by FTD label from soundboard source.
For the first time ever, our release is presented in a deluxe triple digipack with a collection of great images taken in Atlanta, GA, June 4 - 6, 1976.

So enjoy this comprehensive Atlanta trilogy on 3 discs. Do not miss the opportunity to own the ’’ATLANTA WEEKEND ’76“! It is an ultimate release of Elvis' magical June ’76 Atlanta shows!
